Corner Christmas Letter
Thanks to all those Corner members who sent me cards and presents this year - I really appreciate all the kind words. For those of you that have not received thanks from me yet, I’m out of town for the holidays, and when I get back, I’ll be sure to send you a note as well.
We have a lot to be thankful for around the Corner this year. Think how far we’ve come since last year. Our membership has almost doubled in size as we approach 9,000 members going into 2007. We’ve had some massive changes around the Corner with the introduction of the Corner Photo Galleries - the Photo Sharing Corner is gone, and the Feedback Corner has evolved in it’s place. We have the new Corner Blog, and dozens and dozens of member-submitted articles and tutorials. And I can’t leave our our first ever Photograph of the Year contest going on right now!
Of course, where would we be without all the great contests that go on around the Corner. The photographs in our Photograph of the Month contests get better and better with every passing month, and the entries for the Contest Corner Challenges are continuously creative and amazing. These contests are all made possible by the wide variety of sponsors who donate prizes and funds to help keep the Corner alive and running. Without trying to list them all, here are some of the sponsors who have been of extra help this year around the Corner:- ProPicsExpress
- Waller & Son, Inc.
- Copper Hill Images
- Nodal Ninja
- Kiesel Bags
- Bibble Labs
- Lensbabies
- Porter Case
- AutoFX Software
- ImageAlign
- Proimageguide
- iStockphoto.com
- PrintCountry.com
- Time Exposure
- Lowepro
- A&I Photographic Digital Services
- PicaJet
- Blish
We really are blessed here around the Corner with a great, caring community, an excellent group of mods, and an amazingly supportive collection of Premiere Members. Thanks to each and every one of you that make this Corner vibrant and alive each and every day.
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas Everyone!
See you around the Corner,
Tim L. Walker
