We took about a month-long break from Contest Corner Challenges during all the 2006 Photograph of the Year contest hubbaballoo, but as the voting for the final round is coming to a close, it’s time to get back into the challenges…

CCC#30’s title is In the Water (read the full press release here). Since it’s been a while since we did a Contest Corner Challenge, I thought we’d ease back into them with an easy one. The requirements? Take a photograph of something (or someone) in the water. I don’t care what the something or someone is, nor do I care what kind of body of water it is (it could be a bathtub, a sink, the ocean, a waterfall, a puddle, a glass… whatever!). It’s wide open this time. Put your thinking cap on, take your lens cap off, and get snapping!

You’ve for until February 11th to get your photos in. Make sure you read the guidelines and submission requirements before submitting a photo. As the contests continue to get increasingly popular, I will no longer have the time to sift through and resize and/or search for your contact info like I have in the past, so make sure you read the guidelines!! It’s not that I’m getting cranky… there are just only so many hours in the day!
