Contest Corner Challenge #35 Announced - Fill the Frame

Get closer. No, even closer than that. Then get closer one more time. That’s what you’re going to have to do to enter Contest Corner Challenge #35: Fill the Frame.

“Fill the Frame” is the title of the contest, but what does that mean? It’s often said that if you can’t make something good, make it big. Photographs that are “close up” (not to be confused with macro) can be among the most stunning - filled with detail usually not featured in most photographs. Your task is to take a photograph of a subject that fills the entire photograph - no background. The subject and nothing but the subject. Your subject can be whatever - a face, a flower, part of a car, your keyboard, whatever - as long as the subject of your photo fills up the entire photograph. Pick your subject, and get up close and personal with it.

Entries are subject to the regular rules & regulations of course, and entries are due in by 11:59pm GMT on Monday, July 9th, 2007 (that’s 7:59pm EST). The contest is sponsored by our very own Articles By Amy author, Amy Refrey, and her ebook collection, Digital Photography Success.

If the winner is not a Premiere Member, they will receive a Lifetime, Level II Premiere Membership (a $129 value!). If the winner is already a Premiere Member, they will win a PhotographyCorner.com Pen & Business Card Holder set and FREE copies of Digital Photography Success, Advanced Digital Photography, The 5 Most Popular Scenarios In Digital Photography, Digital Photography Presentation, Digital Photography Abstract, and Exposure Charts all by Amy Renfrey (a package worth $199!!) - which can also be purchased for a PhotographyCorner special price of $77 here: click me for the $122 discount. In addition, courtesy of Spicoli who has donated his haul from winning CCC#34, the winner will also receive a prize pack that includes an iStockPhoto laptop/shoulder bag, an iStockPhoto hat, 2 iStockPhoto shirts and a PhotographyCorner.com Pen & Business Card Holder set! If that’s not motivation, I don’t know what is.

Now, go find a subject, and get really close to it, and then get closer still. Now snap away, and send in your subject filling the entire frame.
