Well, after fighting with the code and servers for the past 24 or so hours, the upgrade looks like it’s complete. I’ve already done some tests, and the new server is WAY faster than the one we were on. You should notice a HUGE difference.

It was originally only supposed to take an hour or so, but some of the coding for this site (as well as a couple of other sites that I was moving to the new server) didn’t like some of the upgraded software on the new server. So we had to do some code fixing, as well as load various versions of mySQL and PHP onto the new server until things worked properly. If you sent me an email today, I may not have received it, as some of it got lost (ie. resend it).

Contest Corner Challenge #34 voting will be delayed for a day, and the newsletter will be a day or two more. CCC#35 will be announced on time, so we won’t be behind after the end of the week.
