CCC Update From the Road

What? A blog post? Isn’t Tim supposed to be on vacation…

Yeah, well, you didn’t think I’d just leave the Corner on it’s own, did you? I’m “borrowing” someone’s internet connection to take care of the Contest Corner Challenge stuff. I’ll do full posts on the contests when I get back (plus I’ve already got a backload of press releases and stuff to post too). Here’s the quick run-down.

CCC#35: Fill the Frame is complete. Spicoli won again (that makes 6). Someone’s gotta step up to the plate and dethrown this guy. Check out the voting thread here (it was pretty close, actually), and pass along your congrats to Carl on the award thread. You guys gotta team up with some voodoo doll action if you want to beat Carl… HE IS ON A ROLL!

Also, I announced Contest Corner Challenge #36 a day early, as I know I won’t have internet access tomorrow (cottage, baby!). The theme this time around is Seeing Double. Check out the contest thread and get your submissions in. With the extra day, you’ve got a FULL TWO WEEKS to get this one done. Who’s going to beat out Carl?? Here’s the description of the contest:

My best friend and his wife just had twins. In honour of their new little bundles of joy, you’ve gotta take a photograph of two of something. Whatever your subject is, there has to be two of them (and only 2 - distinctly 2): two packs of gum, two flowers, two mustangs, two whatevers. They don’t have to be identical items, but they should be an obvious pair of the same thing. If you’re unsure of whether or not something will be accepted, just ask here in this thread, or PM me if you don’t want to give your idea away.
