How long has photography been a passion for you? When, where and how did it start?

It is passion of childhood. Expensive 35mm reel system kept me away from this great passion until in late 2004 I got my 1st point and shoot digital camera freedom of shooting pictures without worry of paying for printing and reels was just awesome. That was the point I started to transform my ideas into reality. At that times Pakistan was on headlines always portrayed as problematic country while situation was not same in most of the Pakistan. So my mission became to highlight the major overlooked part of the country that was beauty of culture and colorful happy life.

What are your favorite places/subjects to photograph? Why?

I love shooting landmarks situated in Pakistan like forts, Culture, documenting life and events and poverty. Landmarks because they are vanishing fast! And culture because most of the world always get to see negative side of beautiful culture enriched Pakistan. Poverty because I believe it is small contribution towards changing the world. Major focus is to build a great relationship between people through photography.
