Tell us a little about yourself.
Miguel Lasa, 47. Working in England as a family doctor with a passion for wildlife photography.
What is your background/training in photography?
Being in the wild is my inspiration and training.
How long has photography been a passion for you? When, where and how did it start?
I have been in photography for 20 years but my passion started in the last 3 years.
What equipment is in your camera bag?
Canon 1dm2, 1dsm2 and ef300 and ef500.
What are your favorite places/subjects to photograph? Why?
I love Alaska, Canada, Tanzania, Norway, Finland, anywhere in the wild.
Who are your biggest photographic influences? Why? What about their work influences your work?
The wildlife photographer of the year is my influence. I like the artistic side of wildlife photography.
How long have you been Smug with your photographs? What features do you most enjoy with your SmugMug account?
I have been with SmugMug for 4 years. I like the flexibility and new features of SmugMug, as well as the unlimited uploads.
