I mentioned last week about some of the server problems we’ve been having around the Corner lately, and that we’ll soon need to move ourselves to a bigger and better server (speaking of which, have the band-aids we put on the server last week been holding - notice any problems around the site recently?). Well, the time is here. The time is now. The time is… well, for you to help! We’ve put together a “fundraiser” to help raise money for the new server.

You don’t have to go door to door selling cookies or chocolate bars or anything. You don’t even have to collect pledges and then walk a ridiculous number of miles (though you can do that if you want to - whatever floats your boat). Basically, you’ve got a chance to buy some of those cool, new PhotographyCorner.com pens at really inflated prices (hey, isn’t that what most fundraisers are anyways?) and get the admiration and respect from the rest of the community (and I promise I’ll be your bestest friend forever).

No, but seriously, if you don’t have the money, don’t forgo memory cards or prints or that new lens or anything - you gotta live, right? But if you can go without food for a day or something, why not donate some $$$ to the Corner? If you donate more than $25, you’re guaranteed to get at least 1 PhotographyCorner.com pen in return - you may even win a prize pack worth hundreds of dollars! For every $25 you donate, you get your name in a hat. Once we reach our goal of $2,500, I’ll draw a name out of a hat, and that person will win a bunch of cool stuff, including a Lowepro Stealth Reporter D550 AW camera bag. Sweet!
