In one of our biggest Contest Corner Challenges in recent history, with a total of 48 entries, fa1sal, with over 8.5% of the votes, won with his photograph titled “Rhythm Nation.”

Contest Corner Challenge #50: What IS That??! asked photographers to take an everyday object and photograph it from a unique perspective, making us guess what it is. Faisal threw us off with his title, but his photograph is actually of hotel balconies (the Le Meridien Khobar, in Khobar, Saudi Arabia). Because Faisal is a Premiere Member, he won himself $200 CASH!! But, being the awesome guy he is, he’s asked me to donate his winnings to disaster relief efforts from the devastating earthquake in China on May 12th.
