I know it’s a day late, but with 48 entries and a long weekend here in Canada, what did you expect? Despite my lateness in getting the voting started, I’m sure you’ll agree it was worth the wait. Check out the 48 entries we received!!!

Since this was our 50th Contest Corner Challenge, I thought I’d make it pretty wide open, and that resulted in a LOT of entries… the most we’ve had in quite a while (the $200 cash prize might have had something to do with it, too). What we were looking for was abstract photography (definition: an image that is conceived apart from concrete reality, generally emphasizing lines, colours and geometrical forms, and their relationship to one another). While I don’t think everyone “got it,” there are a lot of great entries. I think the title “What IS That??!” made it a little confusing as some entries were more “What is that” and less “abstract.” But hey, it resulted in a bunch of great entries, so I’m not complaining.

As for the prizes, if the winner is not a Premiere Member, they will receive a Lifetime, Level II Premiere Membership and 5 of the new PhotographyCorner.com Pens. But if the winner is a Premiere Member, they will receive $200 CASH (payable by PayPal only) and 10 of the new PhotographyCorner.com Pens.
