Better late than never, right? Here’s a quick update on the past Contest Corner Challenge as well as the current CCC.

First up, let’s do a quick recap of Contest Corner Challenge #52: Feathered Friends. Voting ended last week, and Tyger was announced as the winner, with almost 30% of the votes. The contest was sponsored by “no one in particular” and Tyger, therefore, receives 5 PhotographyCorner Pens, and a $100 gift certificate to Amazon.com! Check out all the photos entered in the CCC#52: Feathered Friends Photo Gallery, then make sure to drop by the award thread to congratulate Tyger on the win.

Secondly, Contest Corner Challenge #53: Four-Wheel Fotography was announced on July 10th (yes, we’re a little off schedule, but we’ll be back on schedule in a contest or two, I promise). Your photograph doesn’t have to be of a wheel specifically, but your photograph does have to be of a vehicle (car, truck, cart, etc) that has 4 wheels. If can be the whole vehicle, or part of it - it doesn’t matter - as long the main subject of your photograph is a 4-wheeled vehicle. Entries are due by 11:59pm GMT, Friday, July 25th, 2008, and voting will begin sometime on Saturday, July 26th. If the winner is a Premiere Member, they will receive 5 PhotographyCorner.com pens and a $100 gift certificate to Amazon.com. If the winner is not a Premiere Member, they will receive a Lifetime, Level I Premiere Membership!
