We had a great line-up up for voting in the July 2008 Photograph of the Month, but there was 1 photograph that obviously stood out among the rest: Distant Fishermen by johno with almost 30% of the votes.

This PotM win marks the 2nd-in-a-row that has won by posting a photograph in the Corner Galleries. If that’s not a reason to start posting in the galleries, I’m not sure what is.
