After a week of voting, Jim Neiger’s photograph “Birth of a Sandhill Crane,” has won the September 2008 Photograph of the Month.

While Jim has only been a member of the Corner for a couple of months, he’s an experienced nature photographer and even runs his own photography workshops (get more info here: Flight School Photography). There were 10 photographs nominated, but with over 22% of the votes (and only a 2 vote margin over Oneof42’s Last Cut), Jim narrowly squeaked out a victory.
