The PhotographyCorner Forums can be a daunting place for even the most “forum-savvy” photographers. There are currently nine categories, twenty-six forums (if you include the Premiere Members stuff), and almost thirty sub-forums. That’s a lot of choices (some might say too many, and that’s something we’re looking at… but that’s a discussion for another day)! As part of our on-going upgrades to the Corner Forums, we’ve added a new feature to the Photo Gear For Sale forum.

The Photo Gear For Sale forum is basically a mini-classifieds section to the Corner. A place where you can buy and sell (and even giveaway) photography-related stuff. Think of it as a photography-specific version of craigslist or kijiji. Anyways, it’s gotten to be a little confusing in there - people don’t know if a specific thread is about buying or selling, or if it’s been sold or not, so we’ve decided to add a little order to the chaos. Check out this guidelines thread for the full scoop. Basically, though, we’ve added “prefixes” to the thread titles there. So now, when you go to create a thread in that forum, you’ll have to pick a prefix to help describe what your thread is about:

• FS = For Sale
• FT = For Trade
• FA = For auction (for links to off-Corner auctions)
• WTB = Want to Buy
• WTT = Want to Trade
• Giveaway = You just want to give something away (how nice of you!)
