It’s the last week of October, which means it’s time to vote for the top photograph from the past month. We have 13 photographs to vote on this month, including two by Spicoli and two by jaharris1001. You can check out the entries in the November 2008 Photograph of the Month Photo Gallery and cast your vote in the voting thread.

Now, for those of you that are new around the Corner, let me give you a bit of a rundown on how the Photograph of the Month contest works. First off, you can’t enter the Photograph of the Month. What?? Nope. No one can enter the contest. Your photographs have to nominated. So how do photographs get nominated, and who nominates them? Well, all photographs are nominated by the Premiere Members. They’re on the lookout throughout the month for fantastic photographs posted in the forums and the galleries. They create a list in the Premiere Corner and, with one week left in the month, I go through that list and narrow down the nominations to 10-15 photographs (and starting next month, the winner of each Premiere Project will automatically get their winning photograph entered into the Photograph of the Month contest as well). I upload the photographs that made it to vote in the galleries, and then post up the voting thread. In the voting thread, there’s a poll at the top, then below that, the contest details, and below the contest details are the photographs (you have to be logged into your PhotographyCorner account to see them). After 1 week of voting, the votes are tallied up, and a winner is announced, and the next month, we start the whole thing all over again.
