CCC#59: Digital Darkroom #3 Winner Announced

It’s not very often that the winner announcements of the Photograph of the Month contest and a Contest Corner Challenge happen on the same day (ok, they were both supposed to be announced yesterday, but I spread it out a bit - it’s a lot of work!), but it’s even less common to have the same person win two Contest Corner Challenge contests in a row. In fact, the last time it happened was when Karen won both CCC#43 and CCC#44 about a year ago. This time, it’s tamara who won CCC#58, and has now won CCC#59.

Contest Corner Challenge #59: Digital Darkroom #3 wasn’t really a “photography” challenge in the sense that you had to go out and take a photograph. Instead, the challenge was to use at least 3 of the provided photographs and use “digital darkroom” skills to create a new “photograph.” 18 brave, digital darkroom masters put their Photoshop skills to the test and came up with these entries which can be found in the CCC#59 Photo Gallery. The voting results are available here. Tamara proved she’s got photography skills by winning CCC#58, and then, with exactly 20% of the votes, she’s also got some talent in the digital darkroom side of photography by winning CCC#59.

For winning CCC#59: Digital Darkroom #3, Tamara picks herself up a copy of Corel Painter Essentials 4 as well as 5 PhotographyCorner.com pens!! Check out her winning entry and pass along your congratulations in the award thread.
