Not only is this a great effect for stock photography (gives the illusion of a glossy, reflective floor), but it is also a great-looking, trendy effect currently used in web design and editorial photography.

This video was created using Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended, but this tutorial can be done on any version of Photoshop, as well as other post-processing software such as Paint Shop Pro and the Gimp.
