Announcing the 2009 Photograph of the Year Contest

If you follow @thecorner on twitter or are a fan on facebook, you probably already know about the PhotographyCorner.com 2009 Photograph of the Year contest, as we “pre-announced” it on Twitter and Facebook a couple of days ago. For those of you that are hearing this for the first time - the biggest contest of the year on PhotographyCorner.com is finally here. With $10,000 in prizes from 9 fantastic sponsors headlined by PhotoBook Press, the contest this year is going to be nothing short of exciting. Here’s a quick and easy break down:

Go through all the photos you took in 2009 and find the best one
Read through the rules and submit a photograph before January 4th, 2010
Check out the sponsors for the contest
Drool over the $10,000 in prizes available to be won, including a $3,250 grand prize
Drop by the Corner forums to thank the sponsors for providing prizes and sponsoring the contest

Once all the entries have been received, in early January 2010, we’ll begin voting on all the entries
close to the end of January, after several rounds of community voting, we’ll crown a winner and 9 runner-ups
