Cast Your Vote for the 2009 Photograph of the Year Contest
A month an a half ago we announced the 2009 Photograph of the Year contest with $10,000 in prizes. We received hundreds of entries, and a little over a week ago, we started voting on them. The photographs were split up into 7 “groups,” and, after a week of voting, the top 3 photographs from each group have moved on to the final voting round (you can read through the breakdown from each group here). Now, 21 photographs will battle it out for your votes to determine which 10 photographs will come away with part of the $10,000’s in prizes, and which photograph will bring home the $3,250 grand prize and be declared the PhotographyCorner.com 2009 Photograph of the Year.
It’s up to you. The community votes. There are no judges or panels of judges to choose the winners - the community collectively casts their votes, and majority rules. Your vote could determine the winner!
Check out all 21 of the finalists here in the 2009 Photograph of the Year: Final Round Photo Gallery. Once you’ve spent some time checking out the fantastic images, head over to the 2009 Photograph of the Year: Final Round Voting Thread to cast your vote. You only get one vote, so make it count.
Voting ends at 3pm EST (8pm GMT) on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010. The winners will be announced the next day on Wednesday, January 27th, 2010. And if you haven’t already, make sure to check out each of the sponsors from the contest: PhotoBook Press, Cotton Carrier, Mpix, Imagevuex, AKVIS, ThinkTankPhoto, Amazon.com, SmugMug and Daymen. Once you’ve checked out their sites, products and services, be sure to head on over to this thread to thank them for their support.
Now what are you waiting for - GO CAST YOUR VOTE!!!
