Round 1 Winners of the 2009 Photograph of the Year Contest
After well over 2,000 votes in round 1 of the 2009 Photograph of the Year contest, it’s time to find out which photographs will move on to the final voting round. The entries were initially split up into 7 “groups” with 21 photographs in each group. The top three photographs from each group will move on to the final round. With voting complete, we’ve tallied up the votes and announced which photographs will battle it out for the $10,000 in prizes, including a $3,250 grand prize.
Below are links to the voting results, as well as the 3 photographs from each group that are moving on to the final voting round (which will begin tomorrow). Congratulations to those that have photographs moving on to the final round!
