The photographs this month were nominated, as always, by the Premiere Members, and narrowed down by me. There are also 3 photographs from the Premiere Projects that automatically received a place in the voting this month as well (see the Premiere Projects blog post for more details - also check out the recent changes to the PotM format/timing). Cast Your Vote for the February 2014 Photograph of the Month

If you’ve been a member of PhotographyCorner for a while (or have simply been following along here on the blog), you may be aware that we made some changes to the Photograph of the Month contest when 2014 rolled along (read here to see all the changes that were made, and why). Most importantly, instead of voting at the end of the month, we’re now voting at the beginning of the following month. So for the February Photograph of the Month contest, we vote during the first week of March (from a selection of photographs posted in February), and for the March Photograph of the Month contest, we voting during the first week of April from a selection of photographs posted in March, etc.

So here were are, the first week of March, and we’ve begun the voting process for the best photographs posted to the Corner forums and galleries in February. Check out the final, nominated photographs in the February 2014 Photograph of the Month Photo Gallery. Once you’ve had a chance to browse through the photos, drop by the voting thread in the Photography Contests Forum and cast your vote for your favorite.

Last Hurrah (Reflection Lake) is the Last PotM of 2013

December 2013 Photograph of the MonthLast Hurrah (Reflection Lake) by Russ marks the final Photograph of the Month of 2013, but amazingly, the first by Russ since he joined the Corner several years ago. It was a tough field this month, however, and it was not an easy win - check out the nominated photographs in the December 2013 PotM Photo Gallery.

Russ managed to pull off his first PotM win, beating out two other photographers by only 1 vote! Check out the final voting results here.
