The Albino Stare is the January 2010 PotM

January 2010 Photograph of the Month - The Albino Stare by Brad VVoting took place last week, and yesterday, Brad V was announced as the winner of the January 2010 Photograph of the Month contest with his photograph “The Albino Stare.” The photograph was taken at Reptilia, a reptile zoo in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada (just like Brad’s first PotM win - the April 2009 Photograph of the Month).

You can view all the nominated photographs in the January 2010 Photograph of the Month Photo Gallery, and see the final voting results in the voting thread. The contest was sponsored by our friends at DayMen Photo Marketing, and because Brad is a Premiere Member, he has been awarded a Lowepro Topload Zoom 2 Camera bag and 10 PhotographyCorner Pens.

Make sure to drop by the award thread to congratulate Brad on his second Photograph of the Month victory.

Reptilia by Brad V is the April 2009 Photograph of the Month

The PhotographyCorner Photograph of the Month contests are always filled with a dozen or so fantastic photographs, but this month it was particularly tough to narrow down a winner. The voting was fairly spread out, but with almost 17% of the votes from a field of thirteen photographs, Brad V pulled out his first Photograph of the Month victory with his photograph titled Reptilia. You have to check out the other entries here in the April 2009 Photograph of the Month Gallery and then check out the final voting results posted here in the Corner forums. Congrats, Brad!

Scorched Earth by Brad V Wins CCC#57

Contest Corner Challenge #57: Pollution Winning Photograph - Scorched Earth by Brad VAfter 5 days of voting, Brad V emerged victorious as the winner of Contest Corner Challenge #57: Pollution. The fifty-seventh Contest Corner Challenge asked photographers to photograph some form of pollution, or the negative effects of pollution on an environment. There were a lot of great (if not depressing) photographs of pollution all over the planet, but Brad’s photograph of an orange, smog-filled, night sky behind numerous smoke-stacks spitting pollution into the air easily won the contest with over 25% of the votes from a total of nineteen entries.
