I can’t believe this is our last SmugMug Corner photographer interview (sponsored by SmugMug) before Christmas! We’ve got a great one for you, though - with over 20 photographs. It's Friday, which means it's time for another great photographer interview. Today, however, we have a first. Every other week we have the privilege of interviewing a photographer and browsing through some of their favorite photographs. In today's SmugMug Corner we meet Bill Lloyd from Mountain View, California.

It's been a long time coming - over half-a-year, in fact, but the SmugMug Corner interviews are finally back on the Corner Blog. And we have a great photographer to kick it off: Wayne "Woody" Wood from Banning, California, who is not only a photographer, but is a musician, singer, and all-around computer guy. As a popular tourist destination in the summer months, especially for photographers, Big Sur, California is a fitting subject for PhotographyCorner’s August 2009 Photograph of the Month. After dozens of nominations were whittled down to 15 photographs, the community voted. The votes were close, but with almost 16% of the vote, shniks’s photograph taken at sunset in Big Sur, California was declared the victor. You can check out the nominated photographs in the August 2009 Photograph of the Month Gallery, and you can see the final voting results in the voting thread in the forum.
