It's time for another "Corner Member Close Up" photographer interview - but this week we're in for a treat: Tamara Eder has won several Contest Corner Challenges, a Photograph of the Month, and she won the Premiere Project Photograph of the Year contest two years ago. Not only are the photographs below spectacular, but I didn't have to make one spelling or grammar correction - that alone makes it a favorite in my books. ;) If you're familiar with Tamara's photography, you'll know her minimalist photographs are spectactular - enjoy the 2 dozen+ photographs below, as well as a fantastic interview filled with some great stories and advice.

Another Friday, another photographer interview. Gotta love Friday's! This week, in our 81st edition of SmugMug Corner we meet Canadian photographer from the province of Quebec, Gilles Archambault. If you've spent any amount of time around the Corner, you're probably familiar with Nikon_Mario. Not only is he one of the more active members of the Corner, but he's also been a moderator for several years and he completely runs and maintains the Premiere Projects (the forum and threads in the Premiere Corner consistently receive the best comments and critiques on the site). I've had the pleasure to go out on a photo walk with Mario, and we've also just hung out and had a beer or two - needless to say, he's a solid guy and we're privileged to have him here around the Corner. Below are 20 of his favourite/best photos, along with a great interview with Mario in our bi-weekly series "Corner Member Close Up."

We've had this particular SmugMug Corner booked for several months, and I have to admit that I've been especially looking forward to this interview because of the location of the photographer - Banff, Alberta, Canada. If you've never been to Banff before, by the time you've seen some of the photos below, you'll know why my wife and I honeymooned near there, and why your next photography trip should be to the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Hailing from the "Land of Milk and Honey," Dennis loves to photograph large mammals (including the polar bear!) which are abundant in Canadian prairies.
