Contest Corner Challenge #58: My Home Town challenged photographers to get out into the place that they live and photograph something that captures the essence of their home town. You’ve got no excuse this time. I try to make most of the Contest Corner Challenges accessible to as many people as possible, but obviously, certain geographical limitations do come into play once and a while. This time, though, you’ve got no excuse. We all live somewhere. Even better, I know you all have access to the internet, so I’m guessing not one of you lives in some remote tree fort or anything. I lived in the middle of no where for a year, and even then, I wouldn’t be able to wiggle out of this one. Your task? Take a photograph of your home town. It doesn’t matter if you live in a huge metropolis like New York or Singapore, or you live in a small town or in the middle of no where (like Fort Simpson in the Northwest Territories of Canada), you can do this one. Read more »
