Video Corner #64: How to Create HDR Images in Photoshop

Today’s ‘Photoshop Monday’ Video Corner looks at the popular technique simply known as “HDR” (High Dynamic Range). HDR is a technique that allows a greater dynamic range of luminances between the lightest and darkest areas of an image. This wider dynamic range allows HDR images to more accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes, ranging from direct sunlight to faint starlight. The tutorial today uses Adobe Photoshop CS3, but the techniques used should work in Adobe Photoshop CS2 through CS4, and can also be duplicated in some other image processing programs.
