We interviewed his aunt "lucipaz" a couple of months ago (read the interview here), and now it's time we meet Gil Paz (though you probably know him around the Corner as "zaplig") - originally from Switzerland, and now living in Israel. A great interview below, along with 20 of his favorite photos.

Another Friday, and another Corner Member Close Up to kick off the weekend. This week we meet popular PhotographyCorner member lucipaz. Lucy is an active participant in the forums (with almost 3,500 post!), and is probably best known around these parts for entering almost every Contest Corner Challenge and winning FIVE of them! Without further adieu, it's time to get to know a little bit more about English teacher/grandmother/photographer from the Golan Heights in Israel: Lucy Paz.

With over 15,000 members who have submitted almost 1,500 photographs to 64 Contest Corner Challenges, lucipaz has managed to win a total of FIVE Contest Corner Challenges. Her latest victory (and first since Contest Corner Challenge #46: Facial Expressions) garnered more than 1/5th of the votes from a total of 25 entries.
