Last week we took a look at some techniques and an actual photo shoot with dragonflies and damselflies as subjects (you can watch Video Corner #43: Photographing Dragonflies and Damselflies - Part 1 here). Today, in the ‘Photography Thursday’ Video Corner, we take a look at a couple of photographs taken during that shoot and look at why some of them “work” and why some may or may not “work.”

With a bunch of restructuring going on in the Corner Forums, it can get confusing as to where to put your photographs. Here’s a little breakdown of what should go where. To start off, you have 3 options: the Corner Galleries, the Photo Sharing Corner, and the Critiques & Feedback Corner.

Usually, Contest Corner Challenges are all about taking a photo with a specific theme. Contest Corner Challenge #62: Before & After, however, is a little different. There’s no theme - no specific subject that you have to photograph. Instead, you have to take two photographs of something - anything. One before blank and one after blank. The blank can be anything you choose. So instead of taking and submitting one photograph, you have to take and submit two photographs,
