After a month-long entry period, followed by a preliminary voting round, which featured 10 groups of 13 photos each, which was followed by a 1-week FINAL VOTING ROUND, it’s time to announce the winners of the PhotographyCorner.com 2008 Photograph of the Year Contest.

The 7th Runner-Up (tied for 8th Place) in the PhotographyCorner.com 2008 Photograph of the Year Contest is richard peters with his photograph Sunrise Deer Rut!!!

Following the voting period at the end of each month, we tally the votes and crown a photograph as the Photograph of the Month. This month richard peters, for the second time in 2008, has one of his photograph declared the Photograph of the Month. His photograph “Red Deer in Sunrise Mist” picked up over 25% of the votes (and you can check out the voting results here).

It may be April 1st, but this is no joke - richard peters has been declared the winner of the April 2008 Photograph of the Month with his photograph Spring Lamb. What a great photograph to kick-off Spring!
