There’s a new top dog in the world of Contest Corner Challenges: Karen Sykes of Spokane Valley, Washington. With her third CCC win (and SECOND in a row!!), Karen is becoming a dominate force here around the Corner (don’t forget she also won the PhotographyCorner/Kodak Contest a couple of months ago too).

I’m sure you could smell it already, but in case you have a cold, or a poor sense of smell, voting for CCC#44: Photolfaction has begun.

Now, for those of you that don’t remember, we announced CCC#44: Photolfaction a couple of weeks ago, which asked you to photograph something that looks so good (or bad!) that you can smell it. We had 14 photographers step up to the plate, and we have some great, smelly (good and bad!) photographs to vote on!

Just when you thought the Contest Corner Challenges couldn’t get any more difficult, CCC#44: Photolfaction comes along. No, there isn’t a spelling mistake in the title of this Contest Corner Challenge - it’s a word I made up. Olfaction is basically is your sense of smell. For this challenge, you need to photograph something that looks so good (or bad!) that you can smell it. Think perfume, fresh coffee grounds, cinnamon, rotten egg, etc.
