Late last night, voting began for the September 2008 Photograph of the Month contest. Here on PhotographyCorner.com, every month, the Premiere Members go through all the photographs posted up in the forums and the galleries and nominate the best ones. With one week left in the month, the entries are narrowed down, and posted up for the community to vote on. Check your calendar - it’s the last week of August (YIKES!), so you know what that means…

As always, when the entry period for a Contest Corner Challenge is over, we go to a 5-day voting period to decide the winner of the contest. The voting thread and poll for Contest Corner Challenge #48: The Path was put up today, and we have until approximately 6:45pm EST on Sunday, April 13th, 2008 (that’s 10:45pm GMT with all the daylight savings time stuff accounted for). There are a total of 24 entries for this contest which can be seen here in the CCC#48: The Path Photo Gallery. CCC#47: Digital Darkroom #2 Voting Has Begun

Voting has begun for Contest Corner Challenge #47: Digital Darkroom #2! The contest was a “Photoshop” free-for-all, which allowed those who entered to use at least 2 of the posted photographs (you have to be logged in to see them) to create their own compilation photograph.

The entries are in, and now it’s time to vote for the winning photograph of CCC#46: Facial Expressions. The contest asked you to capture a close-up of someone’s face, with the face filling up most of the frame. In addition, the title of the photograph was to be the emotion the person’s face is expressing. And what a great collection of photographs we received!

With the extra day in February this year, thanks to the leap year, voting for the March 2008 Photograph of the Month started a day later this year. There will still be 7 days of voting (which started a couple of hours ago), but voting ends on February 29th.
