Lovely colors. Really vibrant, and a nice contrast between the stamens (? - never was much good at biology!) and the petals.

Very close framing... Did you actually take the picture from your garden, or was it taken inside?

It was taken outside. This was taken using a HP Photosmart 720 and I had only had it for six months, but find it is very limited, but does not do too bad a job for a non-complicated point-and-shoot - now I am saving up for a Canon Rebel. Going to have a couple of garage sales and hope to make enough to buy the rebel.

Yeah, that picture is not bad considering the camera you used... I've never been a fan of HP getting into photography... they have a hard enough time with computers ;) One of our other members, stitchy, just got a digital rebel... I'll have to get something out to balance out the forum! ;)
