I joined in April I think but never came to this particular forum. So heres my intro anyway:
My name is Justin and I'm from MI. I practice photography as a hobby in my free time. I take my camera everywhere with me I can--I have a 28-300mm lense so that can be difficult at times. I just recently got into photography..but its growing on me fast. I got myself a Nikon N80 to start. Although we live in a digital age and its seems to be a much simpler format--I promised myself I would learn how to develop my own film before I purchased a digi-SLR (which, by the way, I have yet to do). We'll see if I hold fast to my personal promise. I just feel that to truly appriciate something, you have to understand the origins of what that [something] went through to become what it is today. I look forward to comments I receive through your forums, from fellow members...in an effort to better understand this artform.
