Nature Photography Job Question

Hi. I'm just wondering if there is any way to get started in the bussiness side of photography. I am looking for a few small gigs and need some help on how to get started.

Do you have a portfolio put together yet? What type of "gigs" are you hoping to get?

Yes. I do have a portfolio. Mainly what I mean by small "gigs" are selling photographs a different places for a few days, then moving on.

We had a good discussion a while back on working local coffee houses... if you can find it, it's a good read. Flea markets and whatnot are decent to get your name out there a little bit as well, but it depends on the area you live in and whatnot... It's next to impossible to make a living on, though, selling nature photography...

No. That' ok. Im only 12 (Turning 13 tomorrow.) so I don't really need anything bigger than that at the moment. Thank you for the help.

Regardless of your age theres no harm in trying. Phone up some local coffee houses, restaurants, etc and ask if they're interested in exhibiting your work. If they are get some prints made an give them to them, with your name and contact details in the corner.
