OK, Well I have been playing around with the New Digital rebel. I still have to play around a little more with it. I have been taking lots of baby pictures of my new little Neice. She was born May 3rd 7Lbs 4 oz. Now the thing that sucks is that I do not want to use the flash on her cause I don't want to blind her at an early age with the flash going off every 2 seconds. I will need her to love the camera later on...lol.. I have been looking through the book, and it seems that it has a setting where you can adjust what type of lighting there is (ie Flourescent, the regular yellow lighting that ruins all indoor non flash pictures unless you have the new "white" ligh lightbulbs....) Now I believe that hopefully this may eliminate the "yellow" light. I have to check that out. I also want to get the plastic film that you can put on the screen of a PDA. I don't want the screen to get to scratched up. I love this camera. It really is a great thing. ( so far) I bought the 1 gig memory card and the highest quality JPEG setting Ican fit 368 pictures on 1 memory card. If I was using the RAW format It would be less since those are about 7 megs each picture. The pictures pretty much come in at an 8x10 size so it makes great prints. If I had a better printer It would be amazing... I will play around with it some more and actually use all of the features. I have been using the "dummy" setting ( where you don't have to set everything up manually like the aperature and all that great stuff) Until I get used to the camera. It also has a dummy feature where you can chose to not have a flash go off even if it is way to dark. Pretty much what I have been using on the baby, which is cool to use. I will keep you all informed on everything else on the camera once I actually get time to use the features. Working about 55 hours a week, and doing some logos after work isn't giving me too much time for play :-( But here is 1 picture from the camera. A little yellow, but I will have to fix that in photoshop. I did lessen the quality a bit though so it wouldn't take forever to load on here
