Greetings all. I'm new to Photography, though not to new to the internet. I'm pretty excited about taking this course during college. I wanted to join a Forum, because usually you learn way cool things. I hope that i'll be welcomed into your family.

Thank you so much. I have a photography assinment of finding three photos that tell a story.
and i guess i'm really not understanding of it. because i'm thinking. A full beer. then a half full beer. then an empty beer. as my three shots. but i dont think thats what my instructer is thinking. LOL forgive me for not being more creative.

Along that theme, maybe have a full beer, then half a beer with 3 empties, and a beer almost empty with 6 empties or something, and the photos get more blurry. ;) So the 1st one is sharp, the 2nd one is just slightly blurry, and the 3rd one is even more out of focus. ;)

Listen to Tim. He MAY be speaking with some expertise on the subject (j/k). Actually, I like this idea.
Welcome, Lizardo. We are a family . . . and we put the "fun" in dis"fun"ctional. Seriously, you've come to the right place to learn. There are some awesome photographers here and, when you need help, all you have to do is ask :)

I spent the better part of today just driving around the outskirts of Phoenix. i saw some really intresting things. but nothing that seems to be what i need for my assinment. though i did find two couches on the side of the road. i kinda wish they had had a bus stop there. a little story came to mind when i saw them. " the wild couches in the natural habitat." or something like "when couches have to be put out to pasture" it made me laugh quite a bit to myself. but i dont know if anyone else would apreciate that.
just about sunset i happened across some burned tree stumps. as i was passing them at like 55 mph. i thought they kinda looked like old men sitting around talking... so i pulled a uturn and went back. i had to climb under a fence to get close enough. man there were so many ants... i was pretty scared. *ewe bugs* but i'm hoping that i took enough pictures with different distances and settings. i was pleased with myself that i did keep a record so i will know when i get it all developed. and i think i have a few frams left i think i'm gonna go back for the couches tomrrow and the beer.
i think the fuller beer being further and blurrier should get the point across eh? thats an excilent idea.. thanks.
