hey! im a newbie here from the Philippines. kinda new to the SLR world too coz i just bought a "new" (2nd hand actually) D-SLR just 5months ago. still 18 yrs old and ive been taking this photography thing seriously ever since i got hold of that camera. I've been reading alot of books and forums trying to learn how to operate the cam manually. ive also decided to pursue a career in photography in the future... hope you guys could help me out in becoming a better photographer! thanx! :D

Hey that's awesome. Glad to see you here. There's tons of people here that will help you out. If you don't find your answer in a post, PM someone.. I've asked people on more than one occasion how they've done something and got a very quick response.
