Photojournalism

So I was wondering how hard it was into doing photography for magazines and such...I know it would be very competitive, but I was wondering if there was anyone out there who's done this and knows what it's like. Thanks!

photojournalism and submission to magazines are usually 2 different things.

pj's tend to shoot for newspapers and the such, and it is very cut-throat and fast pased and not a lot of $ until you get big

magazine submission is kinda hit or miss, either you get assignments or you don't and even w/ national magazines they don't pay as much as you would think.
