1) Back to School Blues
Where did the summer go? Man, that seemed to fly by quickly. Here we are, in the middle of September already. Some of us have kiddies going back to school, where as our younger members of the Corner are heading back to school themselves. The days are getting shorter, the temperature is getting cooler. Fall tends to bring us some beautiful colors to photograph, though, so don't let the shortened days keep you from capturing the autumn kaleidoscope. Around the Corner, we continue to get busier and busier, with August being our busiest month to date in new topics and posts (just under 20,000 posts for the month!). In the next couple of months, we will be going through many changes, including a full re-design of the site. We will be switching the forum software from phpbb to vBulletin, in addition to cleaning up the look and feel of the site. We will also being seeing some bigger prizes for contests, with several great camera bag manufacturers sponsoring contests for the rest of the year, and through 2006. It's going to be an exciting next couple of months here on the Corner.

With the site getting busier and busier, it takes more and more time to make this site run smoothly. A great big thanks to all the mods on the site who give us a hand. I'd also like to thank all the Premiere Members who not only help with their donations, but also help around the site, making sure everyone feels welcome, that no question goes unanswered, and no photo goes un-appreciated. If you're interested in becoming a Premiere Member, check out http://www.photographycorner.com/premiere-membership.php Once the site migration and redesign is complete, we will be adding in some additional benefits to Premiere Membership. If you want to support the site and become a Premiere Member, sign up soon, before the price goes up!
