Yeah, quick response is the key, because ... one of main reasons why people come to a place like this is to get interaction rather than to just get content.

i am a meber to a few other sites also and i have to say i do enjoy getting a reply back releativly fast i have cam here quite a bit lately due to a change in pace i think that other borads can tend to get stale afeter a while if nothing new comes up on them or you dont get a response on them . I stick with a select few that have the information and help that i seek or if i feel i can help i will give it . I learned from the hard knocks kind of way and i have still got alot to learn but it is nice to see that when you ask for help someone out there is not so hung up in "im a pro your not " Syndrom that they are willing to give the help. we all have had to start someplace. my 0.02 worth

Exactly... it's always good to have a good mix of expertise levels... I'm hoping this board continues the way it is. I'm by no means a professional photographer... just learning as I go just like a lot of you... It's always good to have some professionals around to get more advanced tips - and something to strive towards. As long as the community is filled with a good mix and people willing to learn and share, we will be a success. :)

Just to update people on our growth here, today we had our 2000th unique visitor to the site for the month. :D Last month we had just under 600... so by the end of the month, if we keep on track, we'll continue to increase by 400%! Way to go, everyone :!:

Growth rate is pretty impressive. I wouldn't say the traffic can continue be quadrupling every month for a year, but this forum might be able to expect that much increase next month.
