My first picture posted here!

Here is a picture of one of my melanochromis maingano.....hope you like!

That's a great picture, Chris!!! The focus is really good, and you captured the colours of the fishy really well!!! Probably the only thing I would have done different was try to snap a shot without that black rock in the background, so the whole background looks like it does in the top, right half of the shot, but it's quite good! Excellent job. :) You're better than you made yourself out to be. ;)

ok so how did you make him look like he is floating with no water? LMAO!!!! just kidding looks good but i have to agree the rock is a little distracting , would have looked good if he was right in front of the rock also or if you cut him out and put him on just a black rock background

Cut him out? How would I go about doing that? :?

use the extraction tool in photo shop to extract him out of the background and just use diffrent size brushes to do it real claose to him, OR

use the laso tool or the mag.lasso tool to out line him and selet him away from the background. then use the erasser tool to erase the background

Great shot... I have tried shooting my fish I know how difficult it is.

Ive seen on a lot of boards, fish are really popular to photograph. Looks like that fishy there is famous now hehe :lol:
