I was watching a thing on the discovery channel and all those new hotels are to thank for giving you much much much more mist. And I presume gives you better rainbows, which is why I mention this.

Is there any tricks *like filters* for rainbows?

Kara, maybe it's for you cuz you live somewhere over that rainbow? Maybe if we look carefully, we can see you!

Because back in the middle of August you told me not to hog the rainbows...and I posted a pic of a rather weak one. So now I'm coming back with a nice rainbow just for you :P


Gerry: All I used was the UV filter that's always on my lens. I'm not sure if a polarizer would help any, but a saturation boost in PS always helps ;)

A polarizer, when used correctly makes the rainbow darker and when used incorrectly makes the rainbow vanish.

And yes, as mentioned, a saturation enhancement in PS is also done.

One trick, I guess, most of you would be knowing.

If the overall picture has good color and u need to increase saturation only for the rainbow, you can do a selective saturation increase only for the rainbow.
