I figure now is a good time to introduce myself considering I have been around the corner for the last two weeks and have yet to do so.
My name is Greg; I'm a Paramedic Student at St. Lawrence College in Cornwall Ontario. Cornwall is located just to the North of Malone, New York (for those US people here) and an hour drive south-east of Ottawa (or south-west of Montreal, if you prefer).
I grew up in Toronto, Ontario where I went to school for Computer Engineering and decided that I didn't want to sit behind a desk for the rest of my life. My hobbies include photography and alpine skiing; as a matter of fact it was skiing that got me hooked to the paramedic field.
For the last eight years I have been a member of the Canadian Ski Patrol System (CSPS). CSPS is a national organization that is responsible for safety and first response at ski resorts across Canada. With the ski patrol I am a training coordinator and I teach people different skills both medical and S&R (I have already shared one photo from a competition http://www.photographycorner.com/viewtopic.php?t=20540).
I have a cat named Pepi, who I miss tremendously while I am here at school.
Anyway, if you have any questions - let me know!
Cheers.
