This place is really taking off ...

I mentioned this a short while ago, but this place is really taking off. A couple of weeks ago, the forum totaled 1000 posts. Now there are already 1500+ posts. New members are signing up pretty frequently. It may not be too long before it reaches a point which Tim needs to hire a moderator or two.

Yeah, it was actually exactly a week ago we hit 1000..., and now we're 1550ish... which is an average of about 75 posts/day. We're getting there. ;)

I already mentioned, but creating a directory can be a good addition. Also look into AWS; you can probably open a store to sell cameras, tools and equipments for photography. I have not been able to get started for a reason, but you should. It's a good way to generate a revenue for a website like this one.

What do you mean by that? Disk space? Time you have?

Not enough people here yet... Once there's more traffic passing through on a regular basis, I would maybe consider putting something like that together... but time is a concern as well... In addition, it's not really my intent to make this site a hugh money maker... just a good community for photographers. As long as I'm not losing $ on the site, I'm happy. :D
