Jaymz October 4th, 2004, 07:11 PM I was able to get out of work early this past Friday. My wife and I took the baby for a walk at the park. The park is just down the street from us, have to love that!
Also, when I did get home my wife surpirsed me with a new lens! I posted on Friday about the lens I wanted to get. She went to the store and the sales person suggested the lens by Tamron so that is what she got.
Anyway here are a couple photos.
Tim L. Walker October 4th, 2004, 07:32 PM They look great! The 3rd one is cute, too... getting ready for winter, I guess. ;)
Jaymz October 4th, 2004, 07:41 PM thanks Tim!
Soopah October 4th, 2004, 08:13 PM Very cute Jaymz. I have one little suggestion for pictures like the one of the duck- get closer to the ground. ;)
Jaymz October 4th, 2004, 08:17 PM thanks Soopah, I was debating about getting closer to the ground with the duck..but...the duck was in a public park right off the walking-path...now..you may not know how bad some people here in NJ drive....they are even worse on inline skates and bicycles....I didn't want to get run over!
I need to go earlier in the morning when the park is empty.
LOL
Kara October 4th, 2004, 08:26 PM I love the last 2 Jaymz, awesome shots youve got yerself there :D
Jaymz October 4th, 2004, 09:01 PM thanks Kara!
Vibrio October 4th, 2004, 09:30 PM 3rd pic fantastic
Jaymz October 4th, 2004, 09:49 PM thanks Vibrio, I like your signature. That is exactly the "frame" of mind I take when I am shooting photos. Since I am using digital it would be foolish not to take lots of photos.
GerryDavid October 4th, 2004, 09:52 PM Hehe, for some of my shots last spring I was actually laying on the ground, *had to be careful since there are alot of bird droppings*
Thats the nice thing about some digitals, they have a tilt screen so you can angle it so the camera is on teh ground and you look straight down at the lcd.
Tobad dslr's cant lock the mirror up and use the preview screen as a viewfinder, some slr like camera's can do that.
Jaymz October 4th, 2004, 10:17 PM Took this one of Colin before we went to the park.

DLSR's can mirror lock. the 300D can't but thats only a software issue
