Photo to PS Sketch to Colorizing

I decided to try out changing one of my photos to a sketch and then working on colorizing the sketch in photoshop. Let me know what you think...

I love the sketch one, that's my fave out of the two, Nice shot too, has great lines drawing you into the image. The second one has that surreal quality to it, almost like a negative.

For my taste the colour could have a little more punch.

I think it is remarkable work ... good job.:) Sure wish I knew how to do stuff like that.

I agree, nice work! The original is a great shot. When I first saw the second one, I thought of snow! I like the colors in the third as well. I love Photoshop!

Glad you guys like it! It was fun to do. I found that this shot worked really well for this. I think it has to have good contrast otherwise the sketching doesn't work well.

I agree that the color one could use a little more pop to it. It was my first attempt at it and I think the way I layered it was not the best for getting color to really show. I'll have to go back some time and see if I can get more color out of it.

Turned out well, IMO! :D

Great picture for the sketchwork. The colorized version turned out good, but the first sketch is compelling. It makes me want to cross the bridge to explore the mystery on the other side.
