Cute pup, nicely posed. I would clone out one of the catch lights in his eyes, and a tiny white spot on his nose.

If I had the opportunity to reshoot, I would try to soften the light , or bounce some light under his chine to reduce the strength of the shadow there.

Interesting focus on this, only the eye area seems sharp.

Any thoughts what may have happened on the focus and DOF?.....this is wierd, the eye is the focus point, at f/5.0, then look at the very narrow DOF tween the nose and ear. Hummmm, any thoughts on what may have caused this??? Thanks.....;-)
