One of my favorite photos of two of the horses I used to own.

Yeah, that's a good shot... I can see why you'd like it... I guess it was scanned in, right? You could easily fix that scratch mark on the horse on the left...

Yeah, I keep forgetting this is the "photos for fun" thread.
I like this one, how easy was it to get them to both look at ya?

Yeah, I think it's good that we've got the 2 sections now... people can just post up pics without worrying about being too heavily critiqued. :D

Yeah I keep forgetting about Critique and Non Critique

The scratch is because the photo got bent. I don't know how to fix it. It was pretty easy to get them to both look at me and be attentive. That's the kind of animals they were/are. Anyone know how to make the photos file size smaller to post them. I have a couple more, I'd like to post, but they are too big.

You could resize the photos and upload them. :D Soon we'll have some more resizing tutorials in the resources section... I'll put scratch removal on the list too... :D What photo editing software do you have on your computer, Jenna?

Hehe... See, I don't use PS, I use PSP mostly... I would have just used the scratch removal tool... works quite well most of the time...

Photo software...don't know what I have. How do I get the fixed photo from here to a disk so I can go to a photo shop to have it reprinted?

You're going to want to have a bigger file than the one up above there if you want to print it out... If you were to print the above image @ 300dpi (which is at least what you'd want for it to look good), it would be smaller than 2x2.

Yeah, you want to have a bigger file. You'd then need to just right click on it, and select Save As.

Click on the picture to make it bigger, then right click and click save picture asw and save to to where ever you want to save it on your hard drive.
Just click click click and voila

If I took it to a photo shop could they retouch it and reprint it for me?

Probably some would, yeah... most places would overcharge for it, though... Just call around and ask... I wouldn't pay more than $25 for it including a big print.

I don't want it too big. I just don't like when I have to use technology to try to get what I want. It's really amazing I can accomplish what I do.

LOL... technology is our friend... ;) But yeah, learning a program like Photoshop can be overwhelming, that's for sure... Let us know if you get it done...
