Tim L. Walker June 11th, 2004, 10:20 PM Oops! I missed this new category... guests aren't supposed to be able to post... LOL. I guess this is Garry, though, and you forgot to sign in... hehe. Nice shots! Where were these shots taken, Garry?
GerryDavid June 12th, 2004, 05:52 AM I just went looking around and discovered that this is "guest", and not my GerryDavid user name. Odd.
Yup, these are my pictures. Thier in Picton, well near by.
Tim L. Walker June 12th, 2004, 06:51 AM Ahh... I'll have to head up that way sometime... it looks beautiful. :D

Looks like a nice paradise
GerryDavid June 12th, 2004, 04:39 PM The area is between Ottawa and Toronto, I think its an hour on the 401 from Kingston, then theres some turn off, I dont remember the names since I wasnt driving. Then you go over to the island from a ferry *free* or the bridge. The island is fairly large, with lake ontario on one side, and some other lake on the other. There are a ton of beaches, and tons of provincial parks. I think its $7 or $10 for a day pass and with that you can go to all the parks in the area. There are tons of beaches and nature trails. And when we were on the trail, we wernt bothered by mosquitoes or bugs. There was a bee flying near by for a while, but other than that, nothing. could just be lucky that day though.
fromIMR June 14th, 2004, 03:11 AM At first, I thought this is "Tropical Desert Island", but I kept thinking "Tropical??? In Canada?" Then, I realized that this is "Topical Desert Island."
Tim L. Walker June 14th, 2004, 03:20 AM LOL... I never even noticed that... I thought he meant Tropical... LOL. Gerry, come back and clarify for us!
GerryDavid June 14th, 2004, 03:59 AM Im the master of typo's. Meant to type tropical to throw people off of where it was, hehe. But it does look like a tropical desert island sort of thing. :0).
Tim L. Walker June 14th, 2004, 04:54 AM Yeah, it is sort of tropical looking... especially for the Great White North. ;) Do you want me to fix the typo for ya in the title?
GerryDavid June 14th, 2004, 05:16 AM Sure, if there is space. I just tried but forgot it was "guest". Thanks. :0)
Tim L. Walker June 14th, 2004, 06:11 AM I edited the title... but I can't make it say it was a post bu you... ;)
GerryDavid June 14th, 2004, 06:13 AM Thanks Tim.
Tim L. Walker June 14th, 2004, 06:14 AM My pleasure. :D
