Im new here, I was on outdooreyes photography forum *I think* and someone posted a link to a tutorial on how to do black and white and color pictures *already knew how but was hoping for something interesting* and discovered a new forum.
Im 25, male *obviously* and I live in Ontario. Im closer to Ottawa than Toronto.
Ive always enjoyed taking pictures, about about a year ago, well 10 or so months ago I was out of work for a while, had no idea for a career, and I clued in, I enjoy taking pictures, I should persue this.
But by the time I made an apointment with unemployment about taking college classes *you cant do it while on unemployment* it was to late to sign up at the college for classes. So I started taking classes in January *unemployment ran out* and ive taken 2 classes so far. Basic photography and photoshop for photographers. I tried to take more this summer but they were canceled due to lack of students.
So now I got plans to take 4 or 5 night clases this fall *is in a bit of a rush to get the photography certificate before he gets married in may of 2005*.
I currently work part time with a portrait photographer as a wedding photographer assistant. Ive only been to one wedding so far, as a "to see if its something Id like to do", so I havent been on a paid job yet, but one is coming up.
The main things I currently photograph is nature and wildlife. Im a shy person so I havent taken many pictures of people yet. I was suppose to take some of some cousins last fall but that never came to happen. Also I was suppose to take some pictures of a singer for her cd in april but they never got back to me and I dont have thier contact information.

So far I use my fujifilm finepix 3800 most of the time. I got it a year ago last March and have since taken about 7000 pictures probably, but alot of those were practicing. I really shoudl go through my collection and delete the ones I dont care for.
Ive also got a canon rebel 2000 slr camera with the kit lense. No filters yet but once I get some money ahead of myself, I plan to get some, as well as a 200 or 300mm lens.
Have a good day. :0).
